Welcome

Throughout the upcoming year, Prime Time House's focus will be all about "community".  We fully recognize our interdependence with the community and know that we would not be here today without the support and collaboration of other service providers, foundations, employers and loyal friends.

Prime Time House aims to build stronger communities by helping individuals with mental illness lead independent, productive lives.  We are based on the philosophy that employment, education, and positive relationships are vehicles for achieving independence and we work with each individual to achieve these goals.

We have worked to build collaboration in our community to create a cohesive network of support.  Through partnerships with other community providers, we have a thriving new "Clubhouse" in Lakeville and a stable housing program.  Our affiliation with the CT Legal Rights Project and Advocacy Unlimited, allows for legal guidance in housing issues and advocacy to be offered right on our Torrington campus.  With this type of community support, many of our members have been able to move forward in their recovery.

Like any good neighbor, we want to thank our local community and give back in a meaningful way.  This year we plan to offer more opporutnities for community members to tour our campus, to acknowledge the work of other providers that partner with us, and expand our visibility as a resouce to families and individuals living with mental illness in Litchfield County.  We encourage you to come tour our programs and invite you to join our community.
