Friends of Prime Time House, Inc.

F.O.P.T.H. was incorporated November 15, 1993 in the state of Connecticut as a not-for-profit 501 c 3 organization. The primary purpose of Friends of Prime Time House, Inc. (F.O.P.T.H.) is to benefit, assist and further the corporate mission and vision of Prime Time House Inc.

 

In 1996 F.O.P.T.H. purchased the campus on North Main Street in Torrington, CT for the programs of Prime Time House. FOPTH is the primary asset holder and fundraising arm for the agency. The agency has a volunteer Board of Directors and committees such as Development, Capital Improvements and Nominating which works with the Administrative Staff of Prime Time to raise funds from the communities the agency serves in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut.

 

F.O.P.T.H. pursues the objectives of soliciting and receiving gifts, contributions, grants, and bequests as well as, develops and provides leadership in Fundraising, special events and implementing major gift campaigns. F.O.P.T.H. articulates the agencies mission, accomplishments and goals enhancing the programs image to the community.

 

In addition to Direct Appeals, reports to the community and newsletters many special events are also planned.

The FOPTH’s newest venture is “Prime Finds” a high quality thrift store located in Sharon Ct. All items are donated to the store and all proceeds go directly to enhance the budgets of Prime Times programs. The store serves many purposes. It builds awareness of Prime Time House, Inc. and its programs; it provides a place for our members to gain valuable work experience and serves as a venue for public relations and fundraising events.
