Supportive Housing – Litchfield
Prime Time House, in collaboration with the Next Steps Housing program of The Connection, Inc. the Dept. of Mental Health & Addiction Services, as well as the Dept. of Social Services, provides supportive housing and case management services to 10 individuals who have severe and prolonged mental illness and/or substance abuse or chronic chemical dependency and are living in Litchfield County. Our mission is to help provide subsidized housing to individuals who are chronically homeless as a result of psychiatric disability and/or chemical dependency.
The program serves individuals 18 year or older who are chronically homeless, disabled and also meet income guidelines. A case manager works with each resident/tenant to develop a plan to achieve their goals and objectives. Safe, decent and affordable apartments are identified by the case manager who then works with the landlord and the tenant, helping ensure the tenant’s compliance in order to maintain their lease agreement.

The Gathering Place
The Gathering Place is a homeless drop in center where people receive assistance in accessing housing opportunities, shelters and resources. Those in need of immediate assistance should call 2-1-1 and also stop by The Gathering Place 21 Prospect St., Suite A, Torrington, CT (860) 618-3455
